Road To Recovery Day 7: A Bowl Of Bacon With A Side Of Pancakes

It is another gorgeous day in Ireland, I'm pretty sure this is the longest heatwave we have had.

Instead of hanging around the house, myself and James decided to walk up to the small shopping centre close to his house, it is only a 10-15 min walk.
James wanted to get some food for the week, there isn't many shops in the centre but there is a grocery shop and a few restaurants.

When we got to the grocery shop, we got a trolley and started to do some shopping.
It was weirdly trilling, the 2 of us doing a full shop together, it really made me excited for our future, when we finally have our own house.
Finally been excited for the future is a good feeling, it is a feeling I haven't had in a while, it will be a whole new chapter in our life.

After we finished the shopping, we decided to stop in one of the restaurants for some breakfast. I ordered a breakfast bap with red pepper relish.
I used to be the type of person who would order the same type of food in every restaurant I went to, but now I like to try new things, I never liked peppers but that relish was really nice!

James ordered American pancakes with bacon. When it came out I burst out laughing asking where the pancakes where, it was a pasta bowl full of bacon strips. There was so much bacon you couldn't see the pancakes. They should of called it bacon with a side of pancakes, there had to of been over 10 pieces of bacon.

Before we left I got a coffee to go, then we walked back to his house with all the shopping, that was fun!

This time we actually sat in the garden, I had another coffee and sat and worked on my blog again, James brushed his dog because she is shedding her winter fur and the hair is getting everywhere.
We had fun playing with the dog and chatting with each other.
Later we sat in the sitting room for an hour before my dad collected me.

When I got home, my sister and her friends were sitting out the front of my house. I love when they are over because we have a great chat about all the TV shows we watch.

After an hour I decided to head in and run myself a bath. I soaked in my bath for a while watching Keeping Up With The Kardashian's, and then I got into bed, watched more TV and worked on my blog.

I really enjoyed today, going to a different part of the town was a nice change to our usual scenery. I have really only been off for a week and already I feel like I have done loads. Just doing things with my day has made a difference with my mood.

Thank you for reading.
Love,
Tanya
