My Fall Favourites

As much as I hate how cold it gets here in Ireland during Fall, there are many things I do love about this season and so I decided to dedicate a blog post to my top favourite things that I look forward to,

1. Movies:
When it is cold outside I love nothing more than to curl up on the sofa beside the fire in my fluffy PJ's and watch a good ole movie.
(not my Photograph)
Hocus Pocus
It wouldn't be fall if I didn't watch this movie at least 10 times! This movie is my childhood, every Halloween I would sit and watch this on a loop, and lets face it we all like to relive our childhood and so I do every Halloween with this gem! Whine...I smell children!

Scream 1-4
OK anyone who knows me knows how OBSESSED I am with these movies like for real!, it doesn't need to be fall or Halloween for me to watch these movies. I watch them all year round, even when I am doing college work I will have one on in the background! But I do look forward to sitting down and watching them all in a row around Halloween time. RIP Wes Craven!

2. TV
(Not my photograph)
The Vampire Diaries
I get so excited during September as I know all of my Fall TV shows will be coming back, and the Vampire Diaries is one of them. Ive been watching this show for years now and I cant wait to see what they have to bring in October.

(not my Photograph)
American Horror Story
Although I didn't watch the previous season of AHS I am really looking forward to this season, I love the way each season is a whole new story but they keep some of the same cast. What I am most excited about is Lady Gaga playing a character in this season, I cant wait to see her acting!

3. Fashion
Big Jumpers
As I mention already Ireland gets really cold coming into Fall but it has been surprisingly warm for this time of the year (not complaining).  By now I would be pulling out my big warm jumpers because I just hate being cold. I love Fall and Winter fashion the most because I love layering my clothes, and my jumpers are the first thing I go to when I am picking out what to wear each day!

Fluffy Pyjamas
I am actually so excited to start wearing all my fluffy pyjamas. I just love being cosy, coming home after a long day in college I love nothing more than to get into my comfy PJ's and curl up at the fire. I actually got rid of loads of my old fluffy PJ's so now I have an excuse to go buy new ones, I'm actually so excited right now!

4. Make-up
Lipsticks
Fall colours, can we just take a minute to appreciate them! I just love sporting a warm smoky eye and a nice dark lip!

No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick
11.Grace
This shade is just amazing, when I first got it I was quite afraid to wear it because I wasn't sure I could pull it off but I soon got over that and wore it constantly, but I have started to run out. I went into my local Boots store to repurchase it but they didn't have it, so I will have to order it online.

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Mattes
975 Divine Wine
After my failed repurchase of the No 7 lipstick, I picked up this new Maybelline matte lipstick and I have to say I'm really impressed, I think this will be my new fall lipstick but I still have my fingers crossed they will get the NO.7 one back in stock.

5. Drinks
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte
This is probably everybody's favourite hot drink for fall but I'll be honest this September was the first time I have ever tried it and I haven't stopped drinking them, they are amazing.

6. Candles
I love lighting candles around this time of the year because it just adds to the comfy atmosphere. At the moment there is about 3-4 different candles burning in my home and the mixture of scents is so nice! I also love candles that have a Cinnamon scent it really gets me excited for the festive holidays...80 days...just saying!
That is it for my fall favourites, leave me a comment with something you love about Fall!

My Current Make-Up Favourites

My Current Make-up Favourites
Iv recently expanded my make-up collection and I thought now would be the perfect time to share what make-up products Ive been loving!
Eyes
1. Fuschia The Pro Collection Pallet
Ive had this pallet for a while now and didn't really use it much but I found myself reaching for it a lot lately and I just love all the colours!
This pallet was already made up when I purchased it, but now you can purchase the single shadows and just like MAC you can build up your own pallet which I just love! The price for the single shadows is very reasonable starting at €5.50.
*Smolder was not part of the pre-made pallet I purchased this separately*
If you would be interested in a dedicated post for this pallet with swatches please leave a comment.
2. Make Up Gallery Colour Story Eye Shadow
Shade: Deep Plum 17
I bought this single eye shadow in my local Dealz shop for €1.49, I didn't expect much from it due to the price but I am surprised at how good it actually is, to me it feels slightly creamy which I like in an eyeshadow.
I just think this is a fab colour and I have been reaching for it a lot lately, I also purchased a few other products from the range, if you would like me to try any of the products and give a review do leave a comment.
3. Natural Collection Eye Shadow
Shade: ASTEROID
This eyeshadow OH.MY.GOD I have never been so in love with an eyeshadow before, it is seriously my new top favourite! I recently and when I say recently I mean a few weeks ago, went into boots and seen the tester for this shadow and they were all sold out so I was a little heart broken but I decided to check every eye shadow on the stand in the hopes someone put it in the wrong place and low and behold someone did! I was ecstatic! Its the little things in life!
These eye shadows in general are amazing and perfect for beginners as they are pigmented and really easy to blend, and did I mention the price! I managed to pick this up on sale for €2.75 but I don't think that is far off their original price. This shade is just wow,  love it!
4. Essence Eye Shadow Base
For some reason I could never find a good eyeshadow base that I personally loved, but then I came across this beauty! This is definitely the best base I have tried, I just find it holds my eyeshadow in place all day! Another cheap and cheerful product, The only thing I will point out about this product is the colour, it has a strong yellow tone to it, but I don't mind as it goes with my skin tone but I could see how some people may not like it but other than that it is an amazing product.
5. Essence Liquid Ink Matte Eyeliner

I used to always use the essence eyeliner but one day I decided to try something different, but I eventually gave up on eyeliner as it takes me far too long to try and get it to look remotely decent. But I decided to give this ago again and I haven't put it down since, I have honestly no idea why I decided to try a new one this eyeliner is just amazing it is a god send for people who cannot master the art that is eyeliner! Using this eyeliner I can do a fierce flick in a couple of seconds its great! I believe it is all down to the small brush as it is much easier to control than longer brushes. As for the matte, I just love matte liners they have such a nice finish and dry really quickly, which does mean you have to work faster but that isn't a problem with this liner, couple of strokes and your done!

6. Rimmel Brow This Way
Shade: 003 Dark Brown
Usually I would spend a long time on my brows trying to get the perfect shape and filling in all my bald spots, and I'll be honest there is a lot! But I found myself pushing my brow kit aside and picking up this bad boy! I simply just brush this through my brows a couple of times and it just darkens and overall improves the appearance of them. One thing I like to do before applying the product, I like to run the brush through a tissue to remove some of the product to prevent it clumping in my brows because trust me it looks nasty been there done that!
Face
 1. Smashbox Photo Finish Blemish Control Primer
I'm a very picky person when it comes to primers, but I impulse bought this one day and I haven't put it down since. It holds my make up in place all day and my foundation never goes blotchy when I am wearing it. I love putting it on when I am about to do my make up because it feels so refreshing, which is kind of weird for a primer, to me anyway. I do think the price is a bit much to be honest but it does a good job so it wouldn't be a waste. It is available in Boots for €35.00

2. Revlon Colorstay
Shade: BUFF
This is my favourite foundation of all time, I actually prefer this to my MAC  Studio Fix Fluid. This foundation is for normal to dry skin but is also available for combination to oily skin. I love to apply it with a beauty blender as the foundation is quite runny and the beauty blender gives it a medium coverage.  I love when I wear this foundation because it is lightweight and not heavy on the face. It is slightly expensive for a drug store foundation but it is definitely worth it, It is available in boots for €17.99

3. NYX HD Photogenic Concealer
Shade: CW08 Nutmeg
I picked this up after I seen a picture on Pinterest of someone using the dark shade and the light shade for doing contouring. I tried it once and it didn't work for me but I done it again before applying my foundation and it gives a lovely subtle contour to the face and Iv been doing this a lot lately instead of putting bronzer on and it just looks so natural.

4. YSL Radiant Touch
Shade: 1
This has to be the most expensive highlighter I ever bought! I ordered this online so I was taking my chances that it would be the shade I wanted. At first I wasn't sure as it was slightly darker but Iv been wearing darker foundation when I have tan on and I like to use this to highlight my face and it is gorgeous, I recently said it wasn't worth the €36.00, but now that Iv tried it with a darker foundation Iv gotten a better result and I think it is worth the €36.00.

5. NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder
Shade: All Over Bronze Glow
I recently hit pan on my MUA mosaic bronzer, so I went on the hunt for a new one and came across this NYC color wheel, it is a matte bronzer which I find perfect for powder contouring and it is quite light for when I don't want my contour to be too strong, so when I am having a lazy make up day I just pop this on to give my face a bit more definition.

6. Sleek Face Form
Shade: 373 Light

I LOVE this little palette! When I first bought this I wasn't a fan of the blush as I wasn't into shimmer blushes, but now I cant get enough of it.  I hadn't used this palette in a little while but I recently dug it up and haven't stopped using it, I use the highlighter all the time now instead of my MUA highlighter. I also love to use the bronzer when I want to do a more intense contour.

7. Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer
Shade: Light
This soap & glory concealer is my new best friend honestly! I love the 3 step system to cover my spots and this stuff really covers my spots. I broke out pretty bad this month and this concealer just saved my life. I like to apply it with a small fine makeup brush, 1st I use the pink cream and apply this to the spot, 2nd I apply the yellow cream on top of the pink cream and this takes away all the redness, 3rd I pat the powder on top of the creams and it just seems to make them disappear (not literally) but it covers the redness and they don't look as obvious.
 Lips
1. Natural Collection Moisture Shine
Shade: Fig Leaf
I have been loving my nude lips lately and I picked this up in boots for €2.75
, I just love the shade and it is really creamy on the lips, I was actually surprised that such a cheap lipstick would be so nice to wear. I like to wear this with the essence nude lip liner as they are almost the exact same shade. I was slightly annoyed at this lipstick because after taking this photograph the lipstick broke from the hold and went everywhere, I'm not sure if it was the heat, but it was pretty disappointing.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed, If you have any comments don't be afraid to ask.

What Is In My Make up Bag 2015

Hello there!
It has been a while since I last posted here and I apologise to you all, I have been very busy lately, which I will talk about in a later post but for now I decided why not do an updated make up bag post! It has been a year since my last one and lets face it us woman buy a lot of make up, I have a whole range of new items in my far too small make up bag! I am also interested to see if there are products I am still using a year later, so lets jump straight in!

1. Revlon Colorstay in 'Buff'
This foundation is actually a new addition to the family and it has to be by far my favourite drug store foundation! It is right up there with my MAC Studio fix. This shade is perfect for my skin and is very light to wear but has good coverage which at the moment I need!

2. Garnier 5 Sec Perfect Blur Smoothing Perfecting Primer
This primer was in my make up bag last year and will continue to be in it for as long as it is available! I LOVE this primer, I have tried so many different ones and nothing comes close to this, well for me anyway. It is perfect to wear even on its own.

3. Bourjois Bronzing Powder
This is also a new addition to the family, I bought this about a month ago and I honestly only wore it once, I found it was quite dark on my face and I don't like my bronzer to be too dark, but I decided to keep it for the summer for when I have tan on as it might look better with a darker shade of foundation.

 4.MUA Mosaic Bronzer
I got this bronzer last summer and it is the best bronzer Ive ever had, it is the perfect shade for my skin tone and it is perfect for contouring. As you can see Ive hit pan and the powder is starting to go grainy so I will have to dump this soon, which makes me very sad! I will have to go on the hunt to find a new one, if anyone can tell me if this bronzer is still available please leave me a comment or message me on any of my social medias as I would love to have this bronzer again!

5. YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touche No.1
I only recently bought this highlight pen so I cant say too much about it apart from its too expensive for what it is! Although it is the brightest of the shades it is still a bit dark on my skin but again I am going to try it over the summer when I have my tan on. I will do a review on it if anybody is interested before deciding to purchase it.

6. NYX HD Concealer
This is another new addition to the family which I haven't put down! This concealer is amazing for highlighting under the eyes but I don't find it as good as the collection lasting perfection concealer for covering spots. I also bought a darker shade so I could use it for contouring, it looks really nice and subtle under a light foundation.

7. Collection Lasting Perfection
Speak of the devil! This is my all time favourite concealer, Id say I have repurchased this concealer around 5 times and I will keep buying it. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging, its irritation how quickly
the print rubs off the tube!

8. Urban Decay Naked Basics
An oldie but a goodie, I got this last summer and I use it all the time, I actually find myself using this more than the naked 3 pallet, It is handy to have in your make up bag for everyday use for a quick and easy look.

9. Rimmel London Brow This Way: Brow Sculpting Kit
LOVE LOVE LOVE this product I use this everyday even when I am not wearing make up because it just makes my brows look amazing! I don't really use the powder I prefer the wax, I apply this using an angled brush and it gives my brows the perfect shape.

10. NYC Liquid Eyeliner
Eyeliners are not my friend I find them so hard to use but this eyeliner seems to like me, it goes on so well and it is definitely user friendly. It has a strong black pigment which I also love and for a cheap product it is amazing!

11. Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes
I got this little tester with a perfume I bought recently, and I have to say it is an amazing mascara, it separates the lashes really well and makes them super long. I like it that much I am considering buying the full size.

12. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in
I don't usually like matte lipsticks but this one is so nice it goes on like a gloss and then drys and it is very pigmented. I love the different shades they have available but I just loved this pink nude colour.
That is all the products I currently have in my make up bag, I hope you all liked this post.
If you have any suggestions or questions leave me a comment I will be sure to get back to you.
Thanks for reading,
