Pink lipsticks have always been my go to when I do my make up. I personally love pink shades for my everyday make up looks, I find they are the safest option and when they start to fade off they don't look patchy.
This post is a collection of my personal favourite pink lipsticks, with a mixture of different formula's.
1. Sleek Matte Me - Petal
I have loved matte lipsticks ever since they hit the market, and the Sleek Matte Me lip creams where the first I purchased.
I love the nude shades, but the Petal shade was definitely my favourite.
I found this shade looked really nice with my skin tone and it was quite subtle.
The only thing I didn't like about this lip cream was how dry it made my lips, but that is the case with most matte formula's.
When this product started to fade off my lips, it didn't look as noticeable as darker shades.
2. P.s. Love. Matte Long Last Lipstick - Pink
I had a bad experience with the P.S range by Primark/Pennys. I bought 1 lipstick to try it out and when I opened the packaging the lipstick had a very bad smell, as if it was gone off.
I refused to buy any more of them, until my friend told me she had bought loads and they were fine.
I decided to give them another go and I bought a new one. This time I had much better luck and I loved it, the shade was perfect and the formula was also really nice. Another positive thing I found with this lipstick is it is not as drying as other matte formula's.
3. Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer
Keep Crying For You
Makeup Revolution recently came to my town, and to say I was excited would have been an understatement!
The first thing that caught my eye was their Lip Lacquers, I loved all the shades they had, but I only bought 2 to try them before I bought more.
This shade is quite vibrant and I would only wear it when I am feeling daring. It reminded me of M.A.C's Retro Matte Lip colour in Personal Statement.

When I tried them for the first time my first impressions where quite positive, they were highly pigmented and a little went a long way.
After wearing it for a while it began to peal and go patchy, which is a pet peeve of mine. I couldn't top it up because of all the peeling, I would have to wipe it off and put on a fresh coat.
I'm not sure if I would purchase more of them, but I do really like the shades they have, so who knows I might end up buying more.
4. Make Up Gallery All About The Pout
Fuschia Pink & Natural Pink
This lipstick is from Dealz make up range called the Make Up Galley. I picked up a few of the lipsticks to give them a try and for €1.50 they are not bad.
The colour pay off isn't amazing but the formula is comfortable to wear. I did pick up more shades as I thought they would be perfect for everyday wear when I'm not going anywhere but just want to do my make up.
The natural pink shade is my favourite from their collection, it is subtle and I love pairing it with a brown smokey eye.
For €1.50 you can't go wrong, they are good for such a cheap price.
5. Wet n Wild Mega Last - Dollhouse Pink
I LOVE the Wet n Wild Lipsticks, they have so many amazing shades and the formula is comfortable to wear. Dollhouse Pink was the first lipstick I bought from Wet n Wild, I loved how bright and bold the colour was.
The pigments of the lipsticks are amazing for the cheap price of €2.99.
I love wearing this with a really simple eye look, so the lipstick would stand out even more.
6. L'Oreal Colour Riche Collection Exclusive - Julianne's Nude
This lipstick is by far my favourite pink from my collection. I always reached for it when I was getting ready for college.
Not only do I love the shade, but the formula of this lipstick is just amazing, it is very comfortable to wear. When it starts to come off it doesn't look obvious and it is easy to just top up. If I am going on a weekend break or holiday, this lipstick is always in my bag.
These lipsticks are more pricey, at €10.49, but they are definitely worth it!
7. Essence - Love Me
I have always liked the Essence's lipsticks, they are cheap and cheerful!
I have a good selection of them in my make up collection.
I find these to be quite creamy and the colour pay off is also quite good, especially in the light shades such as this pink.
This shade is quite similar to the L'Oreal Julianne's nude, it is just slightly darker.
8. Ted Baker - Pink
This lipstick came in a pack of 3, in the pack there was a nude, pink and a red.
I find the formula of these to be very creamy, almost too creamy. The nude shade ended up melting slightly but it is still wearable.
They are very moisturising on the lips and the colour pay off is good!
As you can tell this pink is very similar to the L'Oreal pink. I honestly love this shade, it is bright but subtle!
I love natural pinks for my everyday make up. I noticed recently I have been reaching for this lipstick and the nude version more than any of my other lipsticks.
9. No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick- Classic Rose
No.7 lipsticks are also a favourite of mine. The colour pigment is amazing and they are very long lasting.
The only thing I find with these lipsticks is they can be quite drying on the lips.
These lipsticks are also quite expensive at €14.00. Boots regularly have No.7 vouchers for €4.50 off make up and this would be the best time to purchase their products.
The lipsticks are very good quality and I do think they are worth the money.
They don't have a huge selection of colours but they do have some nice ones.
That is my collection of pink lipsticks, leave me a comment with the one you like most or the one you like least!
If you have any recommendations of lipsticks I should add to my collection do let me know.
Thank you for reading.
Love,
Tanya
