Graduation Look Ft. Fanny Crown

Hey Everyone, Today I have a graduation inspired look, I know a lot of you maybe going to graduations this year or you may have already gone, but I thought this post might have some inspiration for those of you who may not have gone yet or who have your graduation next year.
This look was created for a dress I picked from the Fanny Crown website.
Fanny Crown is an online dress store, who cater for weddings, proms and more, Not only do they offer ready to wear dresses but they also offer a tailor made service and ship world wide. Fanny Crown really have something for everyone, whether you want elegant, edgy, simple they have everything! When I was going through the website I loved every minute of it, it was so easy to explore and they even have it sectioned so you can narrow your search quicker. They have amazing dresses and I just couldn't choose which one to create this graduation look for, but this A-line dress stood out a mile to me with its empire waist line and its edgy yet elegant detailing on the bodice. One detail of the dress that took me by surprise was its removable skirt, this just made the dress even better that you can take off the skirt and just a have beautifully detailed body hugging dress. Now I am going to show you what I paired with this dress,
Untitled #1
1. Natural smokey eye
I picked a natural smokey eye because I wanted to keep the face bright and natural because the dress is a dark colour. This look is easy to create and can be finished off with a simple cat eye flick.
2. Pink Lips
For the lips I picked Pink Pearl Pop by M.A.C I thought this shade was perfect to add a bit of colour to the look.
3.Hairstyle
For the hair I wanted to give it a bit of an edgy look so I went with a messy pinup, this looks is cute and not to old for a graduation look, it is also quite easy to manage.
4.Shoes
For the shoes I went with a pair of snake textured platform sandal from River Island, I thought these shoes were perfect because they are elegant but again have that edgy look that I want to keep.
5. Bag
For the bag I picked a cut work design clutch from TopShop, again this is quite edgy but not too over the top.
6. Jewellery
For the Jewellery I picked a matching bracelet and necklace from River Island, I just loved the twisted mixed metal look and I thought the gold and silver would help bring out the golden beige within the dress.

That is my completed Graduation look, I hope you all enjoyed reading, leave a comment and let me know what you think of how you would style it I always love to hear other peoples opinions!
If you are going to a graduation or even a wedding I would definitely suggest you check out the Fanny Crown website, the dresses are amazing!

My Favourite Skin Care Products

Hey everyone! Today I am going to share with you my favourite skin care products! When it comes to my face I am very careful with what I use because my skin is so sensitive and very prone to breakouts. The list of products I have featured here have really done my skin justice and help to prevent big breakouts, I still get the odd spot here and there but these products have reduced the amount I get and have over all improved my skin.
1. Silcocks Base
This product is just amazing! Iv used this in the past and it was unbelievably good, I don't even know why I stopped using it, but It has a multi-purpose use, you can use it as a soap substitute or as a moisturiser. I use this to wash my makeup off and I then use the Neutrogena scrub (next on the list) when my face is completely clean I use the Silcocks base again as a moisturiser, and the next morning I wash it off and my face feels so smooth, I have recommended it to some of my friends and they all said it was amazing! This product costs €3.99 for a 500g tub which is AMAZING because it lasts so long, I bought this in Boots but I'm sure you can pick it up in any chemist/pharmacy
2. Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control
I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't try this product sooner! I bought it on a whim one day because I heard a lot of good things about products with salicylic acid and how they clear up your skin, and boy was that right, after the first use my black heads where gone, it was like a magic trick, now you see me, now you don't!! and in less than a week my spots just faded away and my skin was so clear! This product only cost me €4.49 which is just amazing, as I would of expected to pay a lot more for such a great product!!
3. Lush Mask of Magnaminty
If you watch my YouTube channel you will know I bought this when I went away to Belfast and I just cant get enough of it, it smells amazing and really leaves your face feeling soft and refreshed! I love to keep mine in the fridge so when I come home after a warm sunny day out I love to slap it on and it cools my face down! I did notice when I first used it it drew out all my spots but once they cleared up I didn't have many breakouts so it must be doing something good!
4. Bepantiseptic First Aide Cream
OK I know this is a weird one but I'm not kidding when I say this is an amazing product for spots! When I have a breakout I apply this to the affected area at night before I go to bed and it really does reduce the appearance. If I just have one or two spots that are bad I apply a small amount to the spot and cover with a plaster, I do this at night when I am going to bed and I swear the next morning I wake up the spot is reduced and cleared out (evidence is on the plaster, yuck) But really this stuff is amazing for a quick spot treatment! This product cost just over €4 and it lasts a long time!
In total all these products cost under €20 which is a great price for something that works!
That is it for my favourite skin care products,I hope you all enjoyed reading and hopefully found it helpful if you are looking for face care products!
If you have tried any of these products leave a comment and let me know what you thought as I love to hear other peoples opinions!

Brand Favourites: No.7

Hey Beauties! Today I have a Brand Favourites post, I am thinking of making this into a series as I have so much stuff from different brands and I think it would be fun to share what I like from different brands, so as the name suggests the first brand I'm going to show you is No.7.
1. No7 Essentially Natural Foundation
Shade: Calico
This was the first foundation I bought from No.7, it is a natural look foundation with a light coverage. When I was spot free and I didn't need a lot of coverage this foundation was perfect because it just gave me a natural look. It also has SPF 15 so it is a great foundation for the summer if you are just looking for something light to put on your face. This foundation cost €12.95 which is reasonable for this product.
2. No.7 Stay Perfect Foundation
Shade: Calico
This is the second foundation I bought from the No.7 range, I loved the previous foundation but I wanted one with a bit more coverage so the woman at the counter recommended this one, I instantly loved this foundation because it was light to wear and gave me great coverage. I used it all the time until I bought my first bottle of M.A.C foundation then it went out the window, but don't get me wrong I have gone back to it a few times. This foundation is €18.25, which is quite expensive but it really is worth it.
3.  No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick
Shade: Grace
This is my favourite lipstick from No.7, I bought it a while ago and it is almost gone! It is much darker than the picture shows, it a wine/brown colour and I love it for the winter time! It is so nice on but does have the tendency to rub off quite easily but I still cant get enough of it! The price of this lipstick is €12.75 which is expensive for a lipstick but it is really nice on!
4. No.7 Moisture Drench Lipstick
Shade: Waterlily
This is another Lipstick I love, as the name says it is full of moisture so it does not dry out your lips. I done a post in the past on lipsticks and I compared this one to the Diorific lipstick by Dior that was a similar colour, and to be honest I'm liking the No.7 more because it isn't as glittery. This lipstick cost €12.75 which again is slightly expensive but it is a cute colour and is lovely to wear especially in the summer.
5. No.7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour
Shade: Cruising
Blue is one of my favourite colours and when I seen this shade I had to get it. I love the no.7 nail varnishes because they really do last, I find with some of them they do need a few coats but it just depends on the shade. The only negative thing I found with this shade was it actually stained my nails, I was walking around with stained blue finger tips for a while, but my tip for that is use an under coat varnish! The nail varnishes cost €8.00 which in my opinion is a bit expensive, but if you love nail varnishes these are quite good and they do lovely shades! I find the best time to buy things like this from No.7 is when Boots are doing the vouchers with €4 off.
6. No.7 Stay Perfect Shadow Palette
Shade: 20 Radiant Bronze
This eye shadow palette I have a long time and it is one of my favourites, the colours are so pigmented and this shade really makes my eyes pop.
This palette is quite glittery but it is really nice and now for the summer I think it would be lovely if I wanted to do a bronzed look. I recently went to see if they still had this palette but I think it was discontinued and now they have new packaging and I didn't see this shade unfortunately, so I will have to make it last! The No.7 Shadow Palettes are €12.25 which is quite good because they last a long time!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, I am sorry for being MIA the past while but I'm back!
If you would like this 'Brand Favourites' to be a series please let me know in the comments or on twitter!

Splash Of Colour: Summer Nail Varnish

Hey Everyone, I thought I would share with you all my favourite nail varnishes for the summer, I have chosen 4 of my top favourites and here they are....
1. Rimmel London, I Love Lasting Finish
702 Marshmallow Heaven
I Love this Colour, I only bought this a few days ago and it just looks so nice on, I just think it is perfect for the summer!! I have also grown a strong liking to the I Love Lasting Finish range by Rimmel, I just find the colours so pigmented and you only need 1 or 2 coats which is so handy when you are in a rush and don't have time to paint your nails 5 or 6 times over!
As you can see in the picture above the colour is very pigmented for a pastel colour and this was only 2 coats.
2. Essence Colour & go
109 Off To Miami!
I've had this nail varnish a while now but I recently rediscovered it when I went through all my nail varnishes. I though it would be great for this time of the year!
I have always loved the Essence nail varnishes for their pigments but they do have a tendency to chip and crack but what can you expect from a €1.50 nail varnish, but I do find them perfect if you are just wearing it for a day or two.
3. Rimmel London 60 Seconds
873 Breakfast In Bed
Blue is another favourite colour of mine and when I seen this baby blue colour I just had to buy it, even though I have one already from Essence!
I have worn this colour a lot already, and I think I would wear it all year round its just so pretty!
4. Essence Colour & Go
137 Wanna Be Your Sunshine
I have never really been pushed on green or yellow nail varnish but I bought this one day again out of a bargain bin and I have to say I actually loved it.
This Shade would definitely brighten up any outfit and it has definitely changed my mind about yellow nail varnishes!
That is it for my summer nail varnish favourites, I hope you enjoyed this post, I will have more very soon!
Leave a comment with your favourite shade nail varnish for the summer, I'd love to see what everyone else is into, also let me know if any of these shades would be in your summer nail varnish collection!
