Mini Beauty Haul

Hey Everyone, This weekend I went shopping with a few friends and as usual I picked up a few things, I didn't buy a lot but I decided to do a small haul just to show you all what I got :)
The first thing I bought was the new Rita Ora for Rimmel London 60 Seconds in the shade 873 Breakfast In Bed. Ive really gotten into the pastel colours this spring and when I seen this nail varnish I just had to get it. The RRP of this nail varnish is 4.99 Euro but I got it on sale for 3.99 Euro.
When I used the nail varnish I had to do at least 2 coats which is quite good, most light colour nail varnishes take 3 - 4 coats which then just flakes off. I also love the way the colour is quite pigmented! I definitely recommend it for spring :)
The next thing I bought was the Stay Time Pressed Powder by Seventeen in shade fair as I am quite pale.  I bought this because my friend told me about it and said it was really good and actually keeps your make up on all day. As far as I can remember it cost 5.99 Euro, but I got it for free on the Boots 3 for 2 deal on all make-up. I used this powder twice and really noticed a difference and for 5.99 it is definitely worth it. This is my second Seventeen product, this brand is really beginning to impress me, so I might just have to buy a few more products.
I then bought the Gelly Hi Shine Lips by Barry M. I don't usually buy shinny lipsticks because I always find them sticky, but this colour just caught my eye. I usually just wear light pink lipsticks but I decided to go outside my comfort zone and get a mad pink colour. I was surprised it actually suited me when I put it on, I think its because I have dark hair. This is definitely going to be my lipstick for the spring and summer months!
The one thing I love about this lipstick is it is like the Revlon crayons which are my favourite. The Barry M is a new brand to me and this lipstick is my first purchase and I have to say I am impressed.
The last thing I got and my new favourite addition to my make-up bag is the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser by Maybelline. Iv been waiting a while for this product and I finally got it!! I prayed this product worked because I was so excited to get it and I wasn't disappointed, it is amazing! I noticed a HUGE difference in my make up when I used this product. I have visible pores on my nose and it really annoys me, but this product completely made them disappear which gave my make up a smooth finished look and texture. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for the perfect primer, I have tried many primers and this has to be my favourite.  This product cost 11.49 which I think is a great price for this product compared to primers by L'Oreal that cost 20 odd Euro which is just a rip off!

That is it for my Mini Beauty Haul, I hope you all enjoyed it and Thank you for reading :)
I have also set up my YouTube channel and uploaded some Outfit Of The Day, I will leave the link below if you would like to check it out :) https://www.youtube.com/user/velvetvogue101

Lush Lush Lush!

Iv been planning this post for a while now, I wanted to wait until I used all the items so I can include a review on them :) so here it is my Lush haul/Review, hope you all enjoy :)

The comforter Bubble Bar
I bought this bubble bar before but I didn't use it correctly so I decided to buy another one and try it out again. I love this bar it has a sweet berry smell.
This Bubble bar cost 5.90 Euro/£4.50
Before using the bubble bar, this time I read the instructions!
I broke a small amount off the bar and crumbled it in my hand under the running water, this created the bubbles! as you can see from the picture it also changed the water to a light pink colour. The thing I love most about this bubble bar is that you can make it stretch, I still have half the bar left and I just break off small amounts for my baths so I can make it last that little bit longer, but if you want LOADS of bubble I suppose you could use the whole thing. I really liked The Comforter Bubble Bar and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it, I will definitely be buying a few more!
Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb
This bath bomb is from the Easter Collection. In my opinion I think the appearance is a bit messy and rushed looking, but it was the smell that won me over, it has a sweet candy smell, I just wanted to eat it!
This bath Bomb cost 3.75 Euro/£2.95
The bath bombs are easy to use all you have to do is throw them in the bath and watch the magic happen :) I loved this picture as you can see the swirls formed by the dissolving egg and the water turning pink!
I do like this egg but I prefer some of the other bath bombs Lush have on offer.
The fluffy Egg was a good idea for Easter but I would of liked to see a little bit more effort put into the appearance.
 Blackberry Bath Bomb
This bath bomb is a more plain and simple bomb,  I bought this one for my sister because she loved the smell of blackberry's off it. There is not a lot to its appearance it is a light blue colour with B O M B stamped across it, nothing too fancy.
This bath bomb cost 3.75 Euro/£2.95
Again with this bath bomb you just throw it in the bath and allow it to dissolve. As you can see from the picture the bath bomb turned the water purple which I love! My sister said she really liked this bath bomb as it made her skin feel really soft. The Blackberry bath bomb has added bergamot and frankincense oils which make you feel relaxed and calm. I must try this bath bomb myself the next time I am in Lush.
The Golden Egg Bath Bomb
This is another bath bomb from the Easter Collection. I actually seen this on a YouTube video and I just had to try it! its appearance is quite amazing, they designed it to look like a gold foil covered chocolate Easter egg and I think it looks just that!. I think it smells chocolatey but it actually smells of honey toffee. This egg bath bomb cost 4.50 Euro/£3.50.
When I threw this is the bath straight away I was amazed the glitter looks so pretty in the water and the bath began to go a golden colour. The only thing I didn't like about the bath bomb was the glitter, it just got everywhere my bedroom is still covered in it, but it was worth it in the end. It is a pity the Golden Egg is only for the Easter Collection because I would of loved to buy this one again, fingers crossed I get some more before they are gone!

Well that is it for my Lush haul/Review I hope you all enjoyed, Leave me a comment if you have tried any of these products yourself :)
I just want to let you all know for some reason my blog wont let me reply to any of your comments, but I'm looking to get it fixed and as soon as I do I will be sure to reply :)

Fashion Haul

I'm back!!, I no its been a while since my last post, but I promise to make up for it :)
Last week I had a christening and had NOTHING to wear...sooo I just had to go shopping!
And now I'm going to do a quick Fashion Haul/Christening outfit for you guys, I didn't get any pictures of the outfit on myself but I took the pictures of the outfit on my mannequin. Hope you all enjoy :D

 Multicolour Floral Print Skirt
The first item I bought was this multicolour floral print skirt from Pull & Bear, I wouldn't usually wear floral print, but I decided to change up my wardrobe a bit. I wasn't sure about this skirt at first but after I tried it on I didn't want to take it off, the cut of the skirt is just so flattering, and its not too long or too short, I'm 5'1" so to me this skirt came to mid thigh. I have wide hips so usually skirts with pleats don't help me in anyway, they more or less double my hip and bottom size, which just doesn't work for me, but this skirt surprised me. If you have wide hips like me this skirt is a great pick because it is made from neoprene (same material as diving suits) so it actually gives a nice shape. I also like the way the print is not too in your face, the colours are quite subtle.
The Price was also quite affordable, it cost 24.99 Euro, and it is well worth the money because you can dress this skirt up and down and because it is high waisted I think it will be lovely with a crop jumper or top, that will be my next buy!

Cream Sleeveless Shirt
The second item I bought was a cream sleeveless shirt from New Look, When I bought the skirt the next thing I needed to get was something for the top half and believe me it took me ages to actually find something that looked good with it, I wanted a cream top because I felt there was enough colour and patterns in the skirt and I didn't want to go over board, but I eventually found this cute shirt in New Look, I love the gathered feature on the shoulder area, I think it just adds a nice look to the plain shirt. Iv had cream shirts before but I hated the fabric they were made from because it felt so cheap and it was the type of fabric that got caught in everything and the treads were easily pulled but I loved the material that this shirt was made from, it has a soft and silky feel and has a really nice flow. This shirt cost 14.99 Euro which I think is a bargain because Iv paid at least 20 euro in the past for shirts which weren't great quality. The necklace is not part of the shirt just an accessory I added.

Fitted Pink Blazer
This Blazer I didn't buy, my mum actually had bought this a while back and forgot she had it, and I just happen to come across it (score!!) I was delighted because the colour went perfectly with the skirt. It looks quite big on the mannequin but my mannequin is a size 8 and the blazer is a 12, but it is really fitted which I love because blazers that aren't fitted just don't suit me at all. My mum bought this blazer in Dunne Stores which is an Irish shop, and I couldn't find a price because it was bought a while back. I think everyone should own a blazer they are just a great item to have in your wardrobe and they never go out of style!

Gold Rail Necklace
I bought this necklace in Penny's (Primark) a while back but I wear it with almost all of my shirts, I think I paid 5 Euro for it, I don't like paying loads of money for jewellery because I ALWAYS seem to break or lose them, I have expensive necklaces and I'm actually afraid to wear them, so they are still in their boxes! I love big necklaces on shirts because I like to tuck them under the collar to add a nice feature to a pain shirt.

Nude Patent T-Bar Platform Court Shoe
My favourite part of an outfit is the shoe! I use any excuse to but a new pair of shoes! I had to go buy new shoes for this outfit because I didn't own any nude shoes, most of my shoes are black for some reason and very high, I love platform shoes, so this was a strange buy for me because they don't have a platform or a big heal. I have to say these shoes were very comfy and didn't hurt my feet after 10 minutes of wearing them. I love the strap on the shoe I think its a cute feature almost dolly like, and it just makes them so easy to walk in because you are not afraid that they are going to fall off and you are going to fall on your face which in my case seems to happen a good bit!. The heel is just under 5" and they cost 35.00 Euro which wasn't too expensive compared to other shops looking for 60 Euro!

Compete Outfit
This is the complete outfit (without shoe) again the blazer looks too big on the mannequin. I just loved how the whole outfit came together, This is probably the most brightest outfit I own, I have a habit of buying black and grey clothes, but I have made a promise to myself that I'm going to start brightening up my wardrobe!
Well that is me for my Christening/fashion Haul, I hope you all enjoyed, and once I have my YouTube set up I will do a video for this outfit to show you all what it looks like on :)
Thank you all for reading, leave a comment with your opinion :)

March Favourites

Hello again :) Iv been seeing a lot of 'March Favourite's' blogs and YouTube videos, so I decided to try one of my own, bare with me on this its my first favourite's post, maybe the next will be better, but here goes nothing :) hope you enjoy never the less :)

Beauty Products

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I was in boots recently and bought this product, because I am fed up of using Face wipes! I feel like they are burning the skin off my face! I swear by this product, it actually takes off all my make up including waterproof mascara and eyeliner. This cleansing water is suitable for sensitive skin and has no smell, but the great thing is you don't have to rinse if off, so if you have a night out and don't get home until late this would be your best friend!. I use this every night to take off my make up before washing my face with my Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean, I then cleanse and use my spot cream which is also featured in this post. This product was on sale in Boots for about 6 Euro, but I am not sure what the full price is, but in my opinion its worth it.

Oriflame Bio Clinic Adult Skin Anti-Breakout

I started buying products out of the Oriflame catalogue, because Avon isn't available in Ireland anymore :(. But never the less I now have this amazing product which Iv been using just under a month and already I can see huge results, I suffer with break outs all the time usually around my T-zone. This product has actually worked wonders, its cleared up a lot of my spots and it leaves my skin feeling really soft and it is really refreshing on the face! The bottle is quite small but with this cream I found a little goes a long way. This product is quite pricey, as far as I remember it was in and around 25 Euro, but it was worth it for the fact it worked on my skin. Check out the Oriflame website here: http://ie.oriflame.com/

Seventeen Skin WOW 3 Way Highlighter

Iv been looking for a highlighter for a long time now, I was going to buy the Benefit Highlighter because one of my friends introduced me to it, but I couldn't justify that much money on a highlighter. When I was in town shopping with my friend we went into Boots and I seen the Seventeen stand which had new products out and I seen this highlighter which was 7.50 (about) which is a lot cheaper than the Benefit one. Myself and my friend both tried this highlighter and no word of a lie it was just like the Benefit one, I love this highlighter and it finishes off my make up really well!

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeliner

If you have read my last Haul post you will know this is my first time using the Rimmel Gel Liner, I previously used the Maybelline Gel Liner, which I loved but I decided to try this one as it was slightly cheaper. I have used this liner a few times now and I have to say I think I prefer this one to the Maybelline liner. The Rimmel gel liner is so easy to put on, and it doesn't run or leave my eyes all back, and it was easy to remove when I make a few mistakes. After it dries it does take a few rubs to get it off which I suppose isn't a bad complaint. This product will definitely be staying in my make up bag in the future.

Entertainment

Frozen

I am not a huge cartoon fan but WOW! This movie has really turned me around! I thought Tangled was good but this movie really took the crown, I loved every moment of it!, I even teared slightly :L (I am a big softy). My favorite part in the movie was the old guy with the mustache and the toupee dancing, I actually cried with laughter, nothing has made me laugh that much since Paranormal Activity 3! I will be watching this movie again for sure!

Avril Lavigne was my idol when I was a teenager, and I only recently heard her single with her new hubby Chad, I think iv listened to it over 100 times in the past 2 weeks....
It is such a good song, it is different to what Avril would usually do but I still love it :) Thumbs up from me! Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqajUg85Ax4

Food

Cabury Eclairs Velvets

Hi my name is Tanya and I am a Chocoholic! These are my new favorite sweets, they are so good, I just love Caramel and chocolate. I just wish they did smaller packets because I just end up eating them all :( so worth it though!

Muller Light Greek Style Toffee Yogurt

I decided to try and get healthy (ha) so I have been trying to find things to replace my other sweet treats such as my eclairs..^ and I picked these up for 2 Euro in Tesco, these are amazing! they are thick and creamy, they almost taste too good to be low fat, but they are! I love anything Caramel, fudge or toffee related!

Well that is it for my March Favourites, I hope you all enjoyed!, Il try make my April one a bit better :), I haven't added any fashion in this post because I don't think I actually bought anything in March, which is really weird for me because I am always spending!
If you guys have any suggestions for future posts please comment below :)
Thank you for reading :)
